Legend Mail Migration

What if I choose not to migrate?

30 days after you receive the Migration Notification Communication the password that you use to collect your email from the Legend mail servers will cease to work. After a further period of approximately three weeks, email sent to your address will be rejected and senders will receive a “bounce” message.

Why is this happening?

Following the acquisition of Legend plc by THUS plc last year, we have been carrying out an integration programme for all products and services. We are now in the process of migrating former Legend customers to products provided through our Demon brand.

Who is THUS/Demon?

Operating as THUS plc since October 1999, the company was originally founded in 1994 under the name ScottishPower Telecommunications Holdings Ltd but more commonly known as ScottishTelecom. In 1998, ScottishPower bought Demon Internet, the biggest and, arguably, the most innovative ISP of its time. ScottishTelecom rebranded as THUS in 1999 and fully de-merged from Scottish Power in 2002. Legend Communications was acquired by THUS plc in March 2006.
